Ireland: The Green Isle

Its been a busy Summer not just with work but all the fun activities that Summer brings our way, but we were still hankering for a break away to get out of the urban smoke. Where do you go in high reason, right in the middle of school holidays, away from the hustle & bustle and trying to keep the cost down Рanswer РIreland Рthe Green Isle.  Researching the south west coast of Ireland was fun prior to our departure.  Our pitstops where aplenty but we found them all; rocky coastlines, unspoilt beachy coves, deserted islands (only by ferry), salt water lakes, fishing villages, er soda bread by the bucket loads, Guiness and of course the warmth and hospitality of the Irish people!

We flew from Stansted to Cork – flights are still inexpensive and B&Bs work out about Euros 70 per room per night – not bad in the height of the holiday season? Go – you will not be disappointed!
