24-26 July, Old Billingsgate, London

250+ contemporary designers presenting spring/summer 2017 collections

SCOOP AND THE CITY are delighted to welcome a new face to its show in July 2016 – Italian jewellery label - Ziio Jewellery.

Elisabeth Paradon, the creator of the extraordinary Ziio Jewellery began designing in the early eighties.  Her creations in silver, gold and semi-precious stones, entirely worked by hand, utilise an exclusive technique developed through the experience acquired during many years travelling and working in different lands.  The dramatic and magnificent landscape of Egypt with its mystical tones was where Elisabeth first found the ideal conditions to express herself and produce her jewellery.  A far cry from France her native country and the traditional art of the goldsmith.

Animated by her surroundings and by a constant thirst for knowledge, Elisabeth travelled further – the Greek Islands and Thailand – where she learnt different production methods and experimented with different materials and techniques. In Venice, Elisabeth learnt the ancient art of the Murano master glassmaker and her designs aroused the interest of collectors and trend “temples” over the world. In Milan and Paris, Elisabeth collaborated with important Houses like Lacroix, Missoni and Studio Mendini for Swatch.

In 1994, Elisabeth started to present two collections a year. She perfected her technique and created designs of superb quality and style.
Her combination of semi precious stones, silver and Murano glass beads with her sophisticated hand workmanship has created a unique and fascinating style. Her designs are worn by royalty – Queen Rania of Jordan looked stunning in a Ziio necklace.
Today, Elisabeth lives and works in Tuscany , and since 20 years Ziio is distributed in jewellery stores and selected boutiques worldwide.

SCOOP AND THE CITY: Des Petits Hauts

Scoop & the City logo-1

This summer, for one season only, Scoop will be taking a vacation to one of London’s historic riverside locations: Old Billingsgate, a spectacular building, in the heart of the city of London. Rising from the banks of the River Thames, just moments from Tower Bridge, this grade two Victorian landmark is already host to some of London’s most glittering events, from awards ceremonies, film premieres, red carpet events through to high-end exhibitions and fashion shows. But for several days during July 2016, Old Billingsgate will be dramatically transformed into the capital’s most exciting fashion destination, where a whole new take on Scoop’s trademark fusion of fashion and art will be mixed with more than a few surprises. With a larger venue, the organisers of Scoop & Scoop London have combined two shows to present SCOOP AND THE CITY.

We will bring you regular updates and news on returning and emerging designer labels featuring spring/summer 2017 silhouettes, trends, design and ‘what’s new’ for the season ahead.

The Des Petits Hauts story began in the heart of Paris in 2000 when sisters Katia and Vanessa had an idea to create timeless but contemporary little tops that women wanted to wear everyday. The range, with its strong sense of Parisian style, now consists of knitwear, dresses, jackets, shirts and t-shirts all made from high quality yarns and exclusive prints. Tiny little gold stars are a decorative feature on each piece and the star theme runs through every collection from labelling to embroideries, intarsia and prints. Today, over 40 retailers throughout France, including Paris Printemps and Paris Galeries Lafayette, as well as stores in Spain, Belgium and Switzerland, not to mention numerous online sites worldwide, sell their designs. Their Instagram boasts 55k followers.
