Culture Vulture: Shoes – Pleasure and Pain at the V&A Museum

We ventured down to the V&A museum to explore the world of shoes. With a vast range on display from delicate ethnic sandals to extreme platforms and other sculptural elaborate designs, we were taken on a journey through the stages of shoe design and in particular how culture played a significant role in designers’ concepts and style.

For secrets of shoe design make sure you watch interviews with some of the world’s finest shoe designers, for a insight into their inspirations and practice.
