Ali Gunning takes us through her new exciting class @ Stretch this coming Sunday.
Moving freely from the hips brings joy and flow to our practice – like the water element they represent. For some of us developing flexibility is the key, while others will benefit from grounding and strengthening in this area.
This holistic Yoga workshop will look at both perspectives, focusing on the role of the hips in backward and forward bending, balancing and seated postures. You will take away some simple exercises to add into your own practice – as blissful hips require time and patience, not just one workshop!
We will also explore the connection between movement, breath and release of emotions – balancing the swadisthana chakra through pranayama, sound and guided meditation.
