Vintage Festival by Hemingway 2012

Whether your thing is swing, rockabilly, mod, soul, funk, disco, ska, film, art or design, or if you just want to dress up and get an authentic make-over for a day, Vintage Festival is a sensual delight, a big dressing-up box, a collector’s dream and a joyous creative feast for all ages. For one glamorous weekend celebrating the music, fashion, film, art, design and dance from the 1920s to the 1980s that has made Britain the world’s creative and cultural hot bed.

This year Vintage Festival is moving to a new home Boughton House in Northants;  The house itself stands majestically in over 2000 acres of Grade I Listed parkland, manicured grounds, historic avenues of lime trees and carefully tended lawns. The 17th Century landscapes and waterscapes have been restored, recreated and reacquainted with the park’s originally planned architectural grandeur.

Situated in the heart of middle England, Boughton House is just 1 hours travel from London and just under an hour from Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham and Cambridge.

Over 3 days, pass holders can ‘learn the dances’, take in specially curated live performances, exclusive DJ sets, catwalk shows, brilliantly conceived food and cocktails, or take advantage of the decade specific hair and beauty makeovers and all the wonderful vintage shopping on offer.

Join us for the Britain’s best looking and most uplifting long weekend of the festival season.

LAMB TO SLAUGHTER are delighted to be working with Wayne Hemmingway’s team in helping out with the High Street at the Vintage Festival.  The pop up Vintage High Street is audacious but has proved to be one of the defining attractions of the event. The Vintage High Street is a place to promenade, shop, watch street artists, eat and drink to your heart’s content or just sit and take in the magic of High Street, with the authenticity of a film set, in the middle of a field. There will also be a pub, cinema and a beauty emporium for all your pampering needs whilst at the Festival.

If you are interested in retailing at the festival, just pop us an email at http://www.lambtoslaughter.co.uk/contact/ - we would love to hear from you.
